The Road Trip - Days Three and Four
Thursday, April 25:
The pair of travelers journeyed through Death Valley, but there was very little that was picture-worthy, since everything was dead, so they did not tarry and continued on to Mariposa, California, where they spent the night.
On to day four...
Friday, April 26:
On the morn, Jeremy and Steve traveled a short distance to Yosemite National Park. Though the day was foggy, there were still a few good pictures to be had, and one in particular that wouldn't have turned out as nicely without the fog.
After lunch in the park, they continued their journey towards San Francisco. The roads were frequently treacherous, and sometimes beautiful, but more often annoying. The scenic route took Jeremy and Steve around winding curves that they often had to turn at barely 10 mph. The more wooded areas were beautiful, but not picture-worthy, so Steve settled for a picture a stretch of road that was only mildly dangerous by comparison.
That afternoon, they made it to Oakland International Airport just in time for Jeremy's lovely wife Shannon to arrive. The three checked into their hotel, and walked down to Pier 39 for dinner, seal-watching, and sunset pictures of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.
